THE NEWSLETTER AND THE WEB PAGE

The Lady Hibernians will be having a “Bakeless Bake Sale” The men of the Kelly Division AOH paid an extra $5.00 on their dues for the newsletter and were asked to donate another $5.00  for the web page.  These are to offset the expenses of the newsletter and the web page.  I thank you for your support.  Here are some facts.  I send out 324 newsletters by bulk mail for a cost of $32.32.  I send out 24 newsletters by first class mail (mostly Michigan) for a cost of $10.08.  Average mail cost per newsletter is 12 cents.  Walt & Sandy Skotynsky allow me to come into their office and use the copier at no cost to the club.  They even supply the white paper used!!!  The Green cover paper runs $9.00/ 500 sheets.  (Monthly cost of $7.00)  Throw in $2.00 for labels.  We are looking at an average monthly cost of $50.00.  (Again thanks to Walt & Sandy!!!!!)

The cost of the web page includes $65.85 quarterly.  There is also a charge

Of $35.00 a year to control the domain.  Total annual cost of $298.40.

I charge nothing to maintain the web page.  I do the whole package on the newsletter.  I write it, copy it, fold it, staple it, label it and mail it.  The only help that I ask is to keep me informed about what is happening.  A few months ago I asked about an upcoming event.  I was told “Don’t worry about it, it’s being taken care of.”

Go to the Calendar page in this newsletter.  Below the calendar, you will see a few company  logos.  Go to the web page under Sponsor’s links.  You will find the same logos.  Click on one of the logos in the web page and you will link to the company’s web page. Mike Cassidy put the package together.  We received $4,700 in donations this year for highlighting those logos.
