Wright The book is based on the young life of the author's mother-in-law who came from County Kerry, Ireland to Toledo in 1890 at the age of five. Her family, the James Flynn's, settled in Historic St. Patrick's neighborhood. People of all ages (particularly Hibernians) will relate to and laugh and sympathize with the characters in the story.
